Colour Analysis, what's it all about really?

Before colour analysis I was guilty of continually buying clothes because they looked good on other people and always ended up feeling dissapointed that they didn't love me back. Wasted time, wasted money and confidence taking a nose dive. Heaven knows with the modern influencer advertising, this problem is more prevalent than ever. We are continually bombarded on social media with beautiful people modelling beautiful pieces in aspirational settings.

Once you really take the leap into finding out what really suits you and lights you up, so much of the noise just melts away. You are able to walk into a shop and skim over the rails instantly knowing what is and is not for you? Online shopping becomes effortless as you can search by colour and know what will both fit into your existing wardrobe well and what will make you feel fabulous every time you put it on. The best kept secret is that once you have your colour palette, because all of the colours share the same qualities they will all coordinate with each other giving your wardrobe a curated and expensive feel. You will notice that you spend less time worrying about what you are going to wear, what looks good and more time simply enjoying feeling fabulous and living your best life.

So, how does colour analysis work? During my consultations, I will work with you to analyse the qualities in your features. We will look at whether you have a cool or warm undertone, your level of contrast and how soft or clear your features are. This is just the start, we are then able to build a picture and palette of colours which are unique to you. I am a great believer in in person analysis as there is really no substitute for natural light and seeing clients in real fabrics with real in the flesh shades.

I will teach you how to identify the broad spectrum of colours which will work for you but will also show you in detail the very best shades which are uniquely you for investment pieces, make up, hair and beyond. Clients often state that once you see it it is impossible to unsee it.
